This is the tale of a family that began to follow the great intuition of its founder, Giuseppe Laurenzi, over 150 years ago.
Giuseppe Laurenzi founds his first workshop for making agricultural equipment in Perugia.
The company’s excellent craftsmanship is awarded three silver medals in agriculture and industry.
The first brochure appears by the “Premiata Fabbrica di Attrezzi Agricoli Giuseppe Laurenzi e Figlio Vittorio.”
Officine Meccaniche Laurenzi – Vittorio e Figli is founded.
Gold medal at the Commerce and Federation of Umbrian Farmers Trade Fair.
Giuseppe Puccio Laurenzi (fourth generation) begins to manufacture machinery to produce animal feed (mills and mixers).
The first plant and the new industrial hub are founded in Ponte Felcino, where the company still has its head office.
1970
CIMAS S.p.A. is founded, specializing in turnkey feed mill and storage plant systems.
Genni Laurenzi, fifth generation, joins the company.
CIMAS is ranked one of the top 50 Umbrian enterprises for economic performance.
The subsidiary CIMAS INDUSTRIE S.A.R.L. is founded and the production plant is inaugurated in Tunisia.
2005
The sixth generation of the Laurenzi family makes its entrance.
First large plant in Algeria: a 20 t/h feed mill with a 50,000 tonne storage capacity, the fruit of a vision shared between our father, Carlo, and one of our historic, Algerian customers.
CIMAS is one of the companies to be awarded the title of Winning Enterprise by Intesa Sanpaolo.
Recognition as Growth Champion by Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista.
The Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, and the President of the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Mourad Fradi, pays a visit to our plant in Bizerte, together with the General Manager, Michele Pauselli.
