The rotary separator is a machine used to remove small foreign bodies from a mass of granular product being processed. The machine consists of a cylindrical-shaped tank made from 3mm-thick cut and press-formed sheet steel and a rotating surface to which the sieve is applied, which uses the principle of centrifugal force to separate the product from impurities. The product is placed inside the tank, where the rotating sieve plate is located. It is rotated by the direct transmission of a gearmotor with a power rating of 2.2/3.0 kW. A diffuser cone provides even distribution over the entire surface. The machine is supported by four legs, which can be made at different heights as needed. A clean product discharge point and up to four waste discharge points can be provided. There is a cover on the top of the machine to allow for maintenance and sieve replacement operations, and a Plexiglas window allows checking of the flow and cleanliness of the product at any time.
